The Ontario Pork Congress will be holding the Bacon Maker Classic Competition at the Stratford Rotary Complex. After last year’s success, the Bacon Maker Classic will be held during Pork Congress again this year but with lots of exciting changes. The Bacon Maker Classic will be held on the second day of the show.
The OPC Pork Industry Leadership Award is awarded to an individual who has given freely of his/her time and provided distinguished service to the Ontario Pork Industry. This Award is open to research, extension, education and industry personnel involved in any facet of pork production, promotion and marketing. Nominations will be accepted from individuals, companies or organizations.

OPIC’s Pork for a Cause Hog Jog is a 3.5km run/walk and 10km run held each year during the Ontario Pork Congress.
The Stratford Wellspring Cancer Support Centre will be our cause with Rhonda and Reid Wilson fulfilling the role of Honourary Chairs. Rhonda and Reid manage a 500 sow, farrow to finish, operation near Milverton.
