OPC Pork Industry Leadership Award
This recognition may be awarded annually to an individual who has given freely of his/her time and provided distinguished service to the Ontario Pork Industry. This Award is open to research, extension, education and industry personnel involved in any facet of pork production, promotion and marketing.
The Award may or may not be given each year, at the discretion of the OPC Executive.
Nominations will be accepted from individuals, companies or organizations. Selection will take place in September and will be the responsibility of the current Executive of the Ontario Pork Congress.
Guidelines to be used in the selection are as follows:
Contribution to the Industry
activities and achievements of the nominee that have contributed to the betterment of the Pork Industry in Ontario
Career and Achievements
achievements associated with current or past positions in the swine industry
Community Affairs
community service activities outside the nominee’s normal work function that have contributed to the improvement of the community and society
If you know of any individual who is worthy of this prestigious award, please forward a summary outlining the major achievements of the candidate following the guidelines given above. These should be mailed to: Ontario Pork Congress, Box 23050, Stratford, Ontario N5A 7V8 by September 1st. |
