Bacon Maker Classic Highlights Future of the Pork Industry

The 53rd Annual Ontario Pork Congress was another tremendous success, as pork producers, barn workers and other industry members gathered for the two-day trade show and exhibition. OPC remains one of Canada’s largest pork industry gatherings, offering a unique blend of education, networking, industry innovation and pork-focused food and entertainment. Among this year’s highlights was the Bacon Maker Classic. Open to competitors aged 9 to 21, this annual youth swine show continues to be one of the most popular events at the OPC. The Bacon Maker Classic remains a strong reminder, of just how important the next generation is, to the future and success of the pork industry.
